Bob Fox Commentary:  Marsh Dawg is a speedy son of the New York Grade One winning son of Forty Niner, Gold Fever.  His dam is the multiple winner Five Buck Marshall a daughter of Strike Us Rich who was another stakes racer for Star Track Stable.  The stakes winning Strike Us Rich and is the granddam of another stakes racer for Star Track in Mother's Sacrifice.  This is another example of the continuing story of the distaff families of Star Track producing stakes runners for the racing stable. We expect good things from this daughter of Horse of the Year Spectacular Bid, one one of the Twentieth Century's greatest runners and Marsh Dawg has every indication of being a very good horse.  Spectacular Bid, dam of Strike Us Rich is having his strongest genetic impact as a broodmare sire as evidenced by the fact that he is the broodmare sire of nearly one hundred stakes winners. Marsh Dawg the 2006 foal from Strike us rich posted the second fast workout of 20 at Finger Lake on May 5, 2009
