Immortal champions like Secretariat, Ruffian, Seattle Slew, Affirmed, Alydar, Cigar, Personal Ensign, Kelso, Forego, Silver Charm, Man O War, Citation  and so many others are, of course, included.

Affirmed And Alydar

 The two great titans of racing are both deceased.  Affirmed passed away at age 26 just a few days ago.  The last triple crown winner and his arch rival thrilled us like no other legends.  Alydar was leading sire in the 1980's and 1990's and Affirmed was also a success at stud.  Their legend lives on.  By today's purses these two greats race horses would be amongst the top 3 earners
